Breitling's all-purpose model for every need. The Chronomat occupies an important place in Breitling's history. It was launched in 1984, at a time when ultra-thin quartz watches were flourishing. Breitling took a bold gamble with an extremely impressive mechanical watch. Based on the Frecce Tricolori Chronograph developed and launched in 1983 in collaboration with the famous Italian Air Force, the Chronomat celebrated a century of Breitling style and brought the mechanical chronograph back to its rightful place of importance within the brand. The Chronomat celebrates a century of Breitling style. Thus, a worldwide reputation for this exceptional timepiece was established. The new Chronomat features a 42 mm case with non-curved lugs and the iconic bezel with four rider tabs. The unique "rouleau" bracelet stands out. With its white mother-of-pearl dial and golden B logo, this Japan-exclusive model is a timepiece that combines functionality with the unique beauty of mother-of-pearl. The movement is of course the Breitling Caliber 01, a COSC-certified chronometer developed and manufactured in-house by Breitling.
