Is the item really authentic?

Yes, it is authentic. We only sell authentic watches and accessories. We take measures to ensure items sold by Time Japan are 100% authentic. The watch itself is not different from the one purchased at an authorized dealer. All items originate from manufacturer and are carefully inspected to ensure quality and authenticity.

Do I pay any tax/import duty?

Customers will be liable for any duties, tariffs or VAT that may be assessed for importing a package into your country if necessary. Please contact your nation’s customs in order to obtain specific information about what may be assessed. For US customers, there is no import duty with Japan Post EMS.

Does an item have the warranty?

Some of our items may not have manufacturer warranty, since we are not authorized dealer for the brands. Please contact us if you want to know whether manufacturer warranty is available. All our watches are covered by our Time Japan 2 years warranty, so if a problem should arise with the watch, you must ship it back to us. We will then send it back to the supplier which the item originated from, who will forward it to the service center.

How long does it take to receive an item?

We typically ship items within 3-5 days after the payment. FedEx/DHL/UPS normally takes 4-6 days for customers to receive items after the shipment. Japan Post EMS normally takes 7-9 days for customers to receive items after the shipment. Customers can track the shipment on the website of carriers.

Do you discount prices?

Please let us know the model number you are interested in. We will let you know whether we discount it.

Is the shipment covered by insurance?

Yes, we use full insurance.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns of any items within 5 days from the day it is delivered, as long as the item is “as new and unworn." Items must be in the same condition as received and must include all documentation, packaging and any other addition originally shipped. You would receive a refund after we check if items' conditions are met, and payment fee, about 6% of item price, would be charged for restocking fees. You have to pay for and arrange return shipping to us in Japan.

Why could you sell these items for a low price?

We are not an authorized dealer of the brands, so we are not required to sell our watches at the manufacturer’s price. We buy items in enormous volume with discounted prices from wholesalers or distributors. You may rest assured that all watches we sell are 100% authentic. All items we purchase originate from the manufacturer, which is how we ensure authenticity.
